It’s been a hectic few months, and I know I apologise continuously on my blog where lack of blogging is concerned, but it really has been a non-stop few months. I recently found myself on a new journey, one which I am loving at the minute, and feeling extremely grateful about/for. I also found myself (last week) spending my weekend away in Paris. Which I am sure some of you already are aware of if you follow my photography blog, twitter or instagram. Whilst there, I learnt a great deal. Infact, every time I go their my eyes are opened to so much more each time. It really does feel like home for me whenever I visit. The culture, the art, the place in general always leaves me inspired, not only in my creative field but personally, also. Aside from clearly loving paris (a little too much), and getting my work hat on I was also making the most of opportunities that I was lucky enough to be apart of whilst out there. Unfortunately I am not able to say much about it right now, but keep your eyes peeled in cosmopolitan magazine in the new year as you’ll be seeing a feature on me, which I am extremely exctied to share with you all, real soon!
If you know me, you know I LOVE art, and when in Paris my first stop is always the Louvre. I was lucky enough to see Robert Wilson’s ‘Living Rooms’ exhibition which also featured Lady Gaga. I have never been touched by a piece of art in the way in which this particular one did. I felt an overwhelming amount of emotion pierce through my body as I watched the performance art piece that played infront of me. When she blinked and shed a tear I felt pain, but the peacefulness amongst the piece also, it was as though I was witnessing a re-birth. The aura in the room itself was very surreal. Again, a piece that really touched me. If you are by any chance off to Paris, it is definitely something you should go and see. Also try and sit in one of the lectures, they are very eye-opening and inspiring, indeed.
I hope you too have all been having a lovely start to your December. Christmas is fast approaching and festive cheer is out in full force, which is lovely. Theres a general joy amongst people, which is a great thing to see, so with that said, I hope you are all having a great month so far.
Below are a few snaps I took whilst in Paris. I think it is fair to say I cannot wait to be back there, but until then, Vous Voir Bientôt Paris, and hello London.

Hey lovelies. As of recent i’ve been super busy with shoots and work, so i haven’t had the time to blog as much as I probably used to. To start it all back off again I thought it would be good to do a post filled with images to sum up my past few weeks. I’m not a photographer, but love to experiment and explore. London’s had it’s moments, but as of now it’s a nice sunny day and there is nothing I love more than taking quick snaps of things as I walk by. Below are a few snaps! Also, I shall be uploading another post tonight on a shoot I recently done for a magazine which also featured A$AP Rocky in their first issue!

I came across this amazing editorial shot by Paulina Otylie Sury for volt café this evening as I was researching for a personal project. I have to say i’m left speechless and well and truly in love with the imagery. The images are filled with a truly unique and creative avent-garde feel towards the direction of photography, something which I haven’t seen in a very long while. It’s great to see a photographer take an image to such depth and levels to create a remarkable environment for such a beautiful editorial.
“The slight macabre tone that surrounds her photographs, created by the somber veils that so mysteriously complement their dark and derelict surroundings, only causes one to become so intrigued”
Here are some of the images taken by the talented Paulina Otylie Sury:

This fashion exhibition took place at The London College of Fashion in the Oxford Street campus. Theres not one piece I looked at and thought what on earth, if anything I fell in love – and this is why fashion is what it is.

I came across three images, just by chance as I was researching material for an upcoming photoshoot. I couldn’t help but feel inspired by all three. They are completely different images, from different people, yet they represent movement but once again in a very different way. This difference is what caught my eye, and why I love photography as well as the creative industry so much. We are able to create or recreate anything, that alone drives me in a positive and creative direction far more.

I know this was an editorial all the way back in march for W magazine, but this truly inspired me a lot at the time, and it still continues to. Not only is Tim walker a genius at what he does but you just can’t help but fall in love with this. Infact the whole of the march issue was filled with creative inspiration. But of course you can’t talk about the issue without mentioning Kate moss in Good Kate bad Kate which was simply mesmerizing! Over the next few weeks I shall continue looking through my fashion magazine collection (this may take a while so please do bare with me) and begin to post the editorials that truly inspire me even until this day, along with those which are much more recent.

One of the things i’ll be posting on this blog far more is inspiration, may it be through images, quotes, reading material etc. If you know me you will know that my desktop is full of random thoughts, images, website links and so on. This is everything that inspires me for a photoshoot.
