Good evening, all. I hope the day has been treating you all well despite this horrid weather we are currently getting. Each day seems to be filled with nothing but rain and a ridiculous amount of wind. Naturally when fighting through this wind i’m left feeling like i’ve just endured an intense time at the gym. The wind is certainly a battle in itself! With that in mind I wanted to do a blog post which pretty much summed up my week. I’ve been walking around with wet hair, same-colour outfits, and as always a warm coat to finish an outfit. I also found that despite this weather my zara babies have served me extremely well. For me, they are my favourite winter boots which keep you both warm and on trend. Today I paired my boots with some jeans which I decided to destroy and cut myself, which have now become my new comfy pairs of jeans which if I could, I would wear everyday (if my legs didn’t get so cold, that is)! To finish, my Acne Studio turtle neck made this outfit complete, which balanced the cold and warmth elements to the outfit perfectly.

As I woke up this morning I saw nothing but sunshine peer through my blinds. It felt like a summers mornings. Of course, I couldn’t have been more wrong. As warm as it looked from the inside out, it was in actual fact a day where the cold caught the back of your ears and sent a breeze through your body. With that in mind I had to have an element of how I felt waking up and how it actually was within my outfit. I kept the warm elements through my long vintage fur coat and denim jeans. The element of summer and warmth was done through and orange palette which followed through my bag, ring and shirt. The bag and coat in particular holds a great deal of sentimental value to me. They belong to my grandmother who recently passed them down to me, which were originally purchased in Singapore for her by my Granddad. Theres nothing I love more than hearing their stories behind the things they still own till this day. Old photographs, pictures of singapore and the stories play a huge role in the way in which I dress, today. I recently also got my hair cut, which to me is much shorter than before. I managed to bring myself to have 4 inches taken off, and I have to say it feels so much better. I think in general, this month has been one of change, which is great. 2014 is off to a great start, which I hope applies to you all too.

It’s a cold January, and nothing beats a warm coat accompanied by minimalistic clothing and jewellery. Not forgetting, a good pair of boots which are fit for any type weather to come your way. I recently came across this vintage Max Mara coat, which is absolute heaven. Although this coat is a size 8 it’s fits up to a size 18, which makes it the perfect versatile oversized coat for every shape and size. Most of all, it is beyond warm so you don’t particularly need to wear anything thick underneath it. I teamed it up with a plain Alexander Wang vest which is great with any outfit. It’s definitely one of my favourite every day pieces. As I wanted the coat to be the main focus of the outfit I also opted for plain black jeans and boots with simple buckling. Jewellery was also fairly minimal with a few rings and a vintage self-made necklace!

It’s been a hectic few months, and I know I apologise continuously on my blog where lack of blogging is concerned, but it really has been a non-stop few months. I recently found myself on a new journey, one which I am loving at the minute, and feeling extremely grateful about/for. I also found myself (last week) spending my weekend away in Paris. Which I am sure some of you already are aware of if you follow my photography blog, twitter or instagram. Whilst there, I learnt a great deal. Infact, every time I go their my eyes are opened to so much more each time. It really does feel like home for me whenever I visit. The culture, the art, the place in general always leaves me inspired, not only in my creative field but personally, also. Aside from clearly loving paris (a little too much), and getting my work hat on I was also making the most of opportunities that I was lucky enough to be apart of whilst out there. Unfortunately I am not able to say much about it right now, but keep your eyes peeled in cosmopolitan magazine in the new year as you’ll be seeing a feature on me, which I am extremely exctied to share with you all, real soon!
If you know me, you know I LOVE art, and when in Paris my first stop is always the Louvre. I was lucky enough to see Robert Wilson’s ‘Living Rooms’ exhibition which also featured Lady Gaga. I have never been touched by a piece of art in the way in which this particular one did. I felt an overwhelming amount of emotion pierce through my body as I watched the performance art piece that played infront of me. When she blinked and shed a tear I felt pain, but the peacefulness amongst the piece also, it was as though I was witnessing a re-birth. The aura in the room itself was very surreal. Again, a piece that really touched me. If you are by any chance off to Paris, it is definitely something you should go and see. Also try and sit in one of the lectures, they are very eye-opening and inspiring, indeed.
I hope you too have all been having a lovely start to your December. Christmas is fast approaching and festive cheer is out in full force, which is lovely. Theres a general joy amongst people, which is a great thing to see, so with that said, I hope you are all having a great month so far.
Below are a few snaps I took whilst in Paris. I think it is fair to say I cannot wait to be back there, but until then, Vous Voir Bientôt Paris, and hello London.

Goodmorning, lovelies! I hope the new week is treating you all well. I know we have some horrid weather in the UK at the minute, but i’m sure we are all keeping positive despite it trying to bring us down. With that said, I thought i’d upload a colourful post. I recently went to an independent artists exhibition in Carnaby Street, which was set up in an open-space pop up store. The great thing I loved about these artists was the way in which they merged the artistic avenue between art and fashion. Not only that, but they also reiterated their creativeness within the layout of their store, and the way in which everything was placed out in terms of their work. What they projected overall oozed a well throughout exhibition with an element of fun, which had a clear signature of there work throughout, which is always important for an artist. Below are some images of what was showcased in their space.
Remember, you can also find me on any of the social networks linked below for daily updates and to generally see what i’m up to throughout the week. I hope you all have a great start to your week!

I recently did a photoshoot for streetwear and lifestyle brand, Other UK. The brand itself has become a huge success worn by various celebrities, and is supported greatly by many!
“We are the Rule Breakers & Thought Provokers, Outcasts & Innovators
We are The Original & the Unorthodox
We are The Box on the form for the answer that wasn’t anticipated
We are those that Refuse to stand in line & that don’t fit the mold
We Defy Stereotypes & Push Boundaries
We are the Unexpected
We are the Others
Be Original Be Other“
The brand itself showcases some amazing, high quality everyday pieces and brings versatility each and every season to the table. They always manage to keep things on trend yet have their own spin on each garment making it unique, which is music to any buyers ears! Below are some images from the new collection:

Today has been one of those days which i’ve spent in front of my laptop screen none stop. My university work load is beginning to take over my life again, which also means coffee isn’t far behind on days like these. Although i’ve posted something up on the blog already today, I figured another post wouldn’t be such a bad idea. The post is rather fitting in all fairness. Going back to my coffee consumption, I have a crazy thing for mugs and china in general, so when I saw this tea-cup in a cute little vintage store in essex, I just had to purchase it! Unfortunately the cup itself isn’t one which I can drink out of, as it is filled with candle wax. This however is what grabbed my attention: It’s probably the most cute coffee table candle I have ever seen. The fact that it comes with various saucers too, is just quite simply a bonus!
And of course, i end this post with still being in front of my laptop screen. I hope you are all having a lovely Friday evening, and have just as much of a great weekend ahead!
